The Impact of Horse Riding
Equine-assisted activities provide a unique combination of physical therapy, recreation, and emotional support. The warmth and movement of a horse can help riders relax, improve balance, posture, and coordination, while also reducing muscle spasms and increasing overall confidence. Riding also opens the door to social inclusion and personal development, creating opportunities for independence and enjoyment.
Why Sponsorship Matters
Each rider contributes towards their therapy sessions, but these fees only cover a small portion of the specialist care and resources required. Many families simply cannot afford the full cost of providing these life-changing experiences.
By sponsoring a horse, you are directly supporting a person with a disability in their journey of growth and empowerment. Your sponsorship ensures that each rider has access to a trained support team, including qualified RFD coaches, dedicated volunteers, and, of course, our specially trained RFD horses—who play a crucial role in keeping riders safe, engaged, and confident.
Your support makes a real difference. Thank you for helping us continue this vital work!
